Your child can take music lessons right in the DCA building! Your child may even take lessons during the school day!

Since 2001, many DCA music students have studied with Julie Stone, owner, Creative Director, and instructor of Sopranojam Music Studio!
​
And, they've done it during the school day!
Yesterday when our daughter got home I asked what her favorite part of her day was
(I already knew the answer, but asked her anyway.)
Of course it was her piano class!
She is really enjoying her time! Thanks for making it so much fun for her!!

How does this work?
Dayspring partners with SJMS and allows us to schedule music lessons during the school day as a service to their families!*
Students are pulled out from their classes once a week for their lessons.
They bring their materials to school and are escorted to the SJMS studio for their weekly lesson.
Students must make up the class work they miss for lessons, but it is rare for it to pose a significant problem for the students.
DCA teachers are aware of the pull-out and have always been very accommodating in helping students keep up!

*Lesson fees are not included in DCA tuition.

What if I don't want my child to miss class?
We offer after school and evening classes as well! DCA students are welcome to sign up for those times if parents don't wish for their child to miss class time!
FUN FACT:
When Julie was a student at Dayspring, she studied piano, flute, and violin, in lessons that were given during the school day giving her the foundations for pursuing music education in college!
